Police Constable Commits Suicide at Federal Parliament Building

A police constable has committed suicide by shooting himself on the premises of the federal parliament building in New Baneswor, Kathmandu.

Kathmandu Police Chief Basanta Rajaure confirmed the incident, stating that the body of police constable Ajit Gole was discovered in a toilet at the parliament building at approximately 8:00 AM today. According to Chief Rajaure, Constable Gole, who was on duty at the time, shot himself in the forehead with his service rifle.

Further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident are still awaited as the investigation continues. The motive behind the suicide has not yet been determined, and authorities are working to gather more information.
