
24 More Arrested Over Tinkune Violence


Authorities have arrested 24 additional individuals for their alleged involvement in the March 28 violence at Tinkune, Kathmandu.
According to Superintendent of Police Apil Raj Bohara, spokesperson for the District Police Range Kathmandu, the detainees are suspected of participating in arson, vandalism, and violent demonstrations, which resulted in two casualties.
The suspects were apprehended from various locations across Kathmandu. Earlier, police had already taken 41 individuals into custody, who remain under investigation.
