6.3-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Chainpur in Bajhang
An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale struck Chainpur in Bajhang today at 3:06 PM local time. The epicenter of the earthquake was located in Chainpur, causing tremors to ripple across the region.
Prior to this, at 2:40 PM, a 5.3-magnitude earthquake with its epicenter in Bajhang had already shaken the area. These two consecutive earthquakes have left residents on edge.
Reports indicate that the impact of the earthquake was also felt in several far western districts, including Doti, Kailali, Acham, and Bajura, prompting residents to rush out of their homes in fear.
