In a remarkable display of devotion, Pathibhara, the renowned pilgrimage site in the Taplejung district, has accumulated more than 98 tolas of gold and 92 kg, 650 grams of silver over the past 15 months. Astonishingly, the precious metals, generously offered by devoted pilgrims, are yet to undergo the refining process.
The Pathibhara Area Development Committee has announced that steps are underway to refine the unprocessed gold and silver. The collection period spans from the auspicious date of Bhadra 7 of the previous year to the recently concluded date of Mangsir 16. Devotees’ contributions have added a touch of opulence to the revered temple, and the upcoming refinement process is eagerly anticipated.
