Defence Minister Upreti meets Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande

Nepal’s Defence Minister Hari Prasad Upreti, who is on a visit to India held a meeting with Indian Army chief General Manoj Pande on Monday.

Minister Upreti, along with Deputy Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Saroj Pratap Rana, and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Baburam Adhikari, is currently in India to attend Aero India 2023— a biennial air show and aviation exhibition, organised by the Defence Exhibition Organisation and the Indian Ministry of Defence.

According to the Indian Army, there has been a discussion between them about further expanding the existing strong defence relationship between India and Nepal.

Minister Upreti is scheduled to return to Nepal on Friday.
