
Nepal Police arrests nine Chinese and ten Nepali nationals for online fraud


19 people, including 9 Chinese and 10 Nepali nationals have been arrested by Nepal Police on the charges of online fraud.
Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office on Wednesday announced the arrestees.
According to the police, they were arrested from Budhanilkantha and Chandol in Kathmandu. They were running their office illegally in Kathmandu.
They used to contact people through WhatsApp and conducted classes through a channel called ‘Operation Teacher’ on Telegram.
The police arrested them after receiving a complaint of fraud.
