Rastriya Swatantra Party suspends lawmaker Dhaka Kumar Shrestha

Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has suspended its MP Dhaka Kumar Shrestha.

Shrestha was suspended by the party after an audiotape of him demanding Rs 20 million from medical entrepreneur Durga Prasai was released.

Party whip Santosh Pariyar said that MP Shrestha has been suspended by the party. “We heard the audio. The disciplinary committee of the party will work to know more about this. He has been suspended for a week,” he said.
