Bara-2: JSP’s Upendra Yadav ahead as vote counting begins

The Bara Constituency-2 election enters its final phase as vote counting commences.

The by-election held on Sunday has witnessed Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) candidate Upendra Yadav taking an early lead in the vote count.

Yadav has received 224 votes so far.

Janamath Party’s Shivchandra Kushwaha is following Yadav with 170 votes.

The third place is currently held by UML’s Purushottam Paudel, who has received 166 votes, with Rastriya Swatantra Party’s Ramesh Kharel following closely with 80 votes.
