Update: Fly Dubai is going to its destination normally, the airport is open
Tribhuvan International Airport Air Control has informed that Fly Dubai, which flew from Kathmandu to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has returned to normal conditions. After the captain informed the controller that he will reach Dubai with only one engine and that the fire on board has been extinguished, other regular flights have been resumed at the airport.

Fly Dubai’s Boeing 737 Kathmandu to Dubai flight number FZ Five Seven Six was preparing for a force landing in Kathmandu due to a technical problem in one of its engines.
Fly Dubai flight number 576, (Boeing 737-800) Kathmandu to Dubai flight is normal now and proceeding to her destination Dubai as per the flight plan.

Airport General Manager Pratap Tiwari and Tourism Minister Sudan Kirati informed about this through social media.
Apart from the crew members, there are 120 foreigners and 49 Nepali citizens on the Aircraft.
