Lawmaker Dr Wagle sees need of political corrections
Dr Swarnim Wagle, the newly elected member to the House of Representatives (HoR) from Tanahu constituency-1, has said, “Domestic politics is not on a track, it is getting polluted and it should be cleaned.”
He said as the HoR-elect member he felt the need of correcting the nation’s politics together with addressing frustrations among the youths and the nation’s economic issues as well.
In his address to a mass meeting organised by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) at Khulachaur of Damauli today, Dr Wagle who was the RSP candidate for the HoR by-election from the constituency was of the view of promoting a clean politics and reviving the nation’s economy.
As he said, an individual’s efforts would not be sufficient to bring positive changes in the nation, political collaboration and combined efforts are needed to see a wave of development in the country.
The newly elected lawmaker said, “The RSP has been successful in becoming a national party in six months of its emergence and it creates pressure among traditional political parties for correction.”
He insisted on assimilating people’s aspirations and addressing them.
According to him, the result of HoR-by election in Tanahu is itself a message for the necessity to do away with political misconducts and malpractices. He said he was committed to doing his role as the representative of Tahanu-1 folks in the federal parliament in a way so that his voters could feel proud of themselves over the decision to pick him up as their representative.
