Party Will Not Defend Guilty in Bhutanese Refugee Fraud Case, Says UML Chair Oli

CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has expressed his opinion that the culprits involved in the Bhutanese refugee fraud case should not be pardoned. After meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda at Singha Darbar on Thursday afternoon, Chairman Oli briefly spoke to journalists and stated that his party will not support those who are found guilty in the case.

Oli emphasized that the party is committed to ensuring that innocent people are not unfairly targeted while the guilty are not let off the hook. He stated, “We are clear to the fact that innocent people should not be harassed, and the guilty should not escape. We will not defend the guilty.”
