Govt. committed to improve country’s economy: PM Dahal

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the government was committed to maintain stability and address situation surfaced in country’s economy.

Addressing a programme organised by Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta west) Ramgram municipality at Ramgrama Stupa on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti Friday, Prime Minister Dahal opined, “We are advancing to establish good governance and social justice to address current economic issues of the country”.

He shared Ramgram Stupa is an important religious and tourism site under the Greater Lumbini Development master plan.
The Prime Minister mentioned Buddhist philosophy has played significant role to inspire millions of people towards the path of social unity and harmony.

Talking about the Master Plan prepared four years ago as part of the Buddha Circuit concept, he expressed the government commitment to move ahead to develop Ramgrama Stupa and other religious sites related to Buddha.

On the occasion, the relics of Lord Buddha received as the gift from Sri Lanka was shown to the Prime Minister.

Also on the occasion, Mayor of Ramgrama municipality, Dhanapat Yadav, urged the Prime Minister for the development of Stupa.
