PM Dahal to face MPs questions at HoR today

During today’s session of the House of Representatives (HoR), Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” is being subjected to questioning by Members of Parliament (MPs). Parliamentarians have been allocated time to pose inquiries to Prime Minister Dahal, covering a wide range of issues.

The Parliament Secretariat has reported that 20 MPs have expressed their intention to ask questions to PM Dahal. However, due to time constraints, only 15 lawmakers will be granted the opportunity to do so, as stated by the Secretariat.

The topics on which lawmakers will be seeking clarification include the fake Bhutanese refugee scam, the Prime Minister’s visit to India, citizenship matters, and other pertinent issues, as indicated by the Parliament Secretariat.

A member of the Nagarik Unmukti Party will raise a question concerning the release of Resham Chaudhary.

As of now, the House of Representatives meeting, originally scheduled for 11 am, has not yet commenced.
