HoR extends gratitude to President Paudel

The House of Representatives has thanked President Ram Chandra Paudel for his address to the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament.

The second meeting today of the House of Representatives unanimously passed a motion of thanks for reading out the policy and programmes of the government for the new fiscal year 2080/81.

Earlier in the meeting, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ tabled a copy of the President’s address to the Federal Parliament. President Paudel addressed the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament on the policies and programs of the government for the coming fiscal year, in accordance with Article 95 of the Constitution of Nepal.

At the end of the meeting, Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced May 21 to 25 as the days for deliberation on the policy and program.

The next meeting of the House of Representatives will be held at 11 am on May 21.
