COVID-19 Update: Four New Cases Confirmed, 12 Recoveries Reported
On Sunday, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) announced the confirmation of four new cases of COVID-19, combining both RT-PCR and antigen tests. Concurrently, 12 individuals successfully recovered from the disease.
According to the MoHP’s regular update, out of the 195 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests conducted in the past 24 hours, two individuals were found to be infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Additionally, two positive cases were detected through 573 Antigen tests administered during the same period.
As of now, Nepal is contending with 70 active cases of COVID-19 throughout the country. While the numbers remain relatively low, continued vigilance and adherence to preventive measures are paramount.
Sadly, the total number of lives lost to COVID-19 in Nepal has reached 12,031.
