Finance Minister Forecasted Revenue Collection of 11.79 trillion in FY 2022/23

Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat has unveiled the highly anticipated budget for the fiscal year 2023/24, shedding light on the government’s financial plans.
During the announcement, Minister Mahat revealed that the projected revenue collection for the current financial year is expected to amount to 11 trillion 79 billion 8.4 million rupees. However, this figure falls short of the targeted amount by 16 percent, signifying a decrease of 5.9 percent when compared to the previous fiscal year.
