India to Import 10,000 Megawatts of Electricity Annually from Nepal

During the visit of Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a significant announcement regarding bilateral energy cooperation.
In a joint press conference following their meeting, Prime Minister Modi revealed that India has decided to procure an annual supply of 10,000 megawatts of electricity from Nepal.
This agreement marks a substantial milestone in the energy partnership between the two nations.
