Policy and Program on one hand, Budget on the other: Bishnu Paudel
CPN-UML lawmaker and former finance minister Bishnu Paudel has expressed his concern over the policies and programs presented by the government, stating that they lack alignment and coherence. Speaking during a meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, Lawmaker Paudel emphasized that the budget for the next financial year failed to adequately address crucial issues outlined in the policy and program.
According to Paudel, the budget presented by the government does not adequately address the current economic situation in Nepal. He believes that the budget lacks a clear focus on advancing the capital market and stimulating economic growth. He said that misalignment between the policy and program on one hand, and the budget on the other, raises concerns about the government’s ability to effectively allocate resources and implement its stated objectives.
