
House of Representatives Passes Budget, 147 Votes in Favor

The budget proposed by the government has been successfully passed in the House of Representatives today. The budget received overwhelming support, with 147 votes in favor out of the 255 representatives present during the session.
There were 108 votes registered against the budget.
The decision to hold a vote on the budget came after the main opposition party, UML demanded a split vote.
