Teacher Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse of Minor Student

A 23-year-old teacher has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a female student studying at Little Flower Public School in Lalitpur’s Shankhamul. The accused, identified as Ashok Pariyar, was apprehended by the Lalitpur police. Pariyar, who hails from Baglung and currently resides in Kupandol, now faces serious legal consequences for his alleged actions.

The arrest came after the family of a 15-year-old student in class 9 discovered suspicious messages sent by the teacher and promptly contacted the authorities. Disturbed by the content of the messages, the family took immediate action. According to the student’s sister, their mother stumbled upon an objectionable photo of her daughter with the teacher, leading her to confront Pariyar. However, upon further investigation, the family members were horrified by the nature of the various messages exchanged between the teacher and the student on their mobile phones.

The messages revealed an alarming level of familiarity between the teacher and the female student. In some instances, Pariyar addressed the student as his “wife,” while she referred to him as “father.”

The teacher even inquired about the student’s well-being, asking if she had taken any pills and if she was experiencing any stomach pain. Other messages suggested an intimate relationship between the two. Additionally, the family also discovered TikTok videos depicting the teacher kissing the female student, consuming alcohol, and smoking hookah together, further fueling their concerns.

Upon realizing the severity of the situation, the family decided to take legal action against Pariyar, accusing him of coercion. Under the law, any consensual relationship with a girl under the age of 18 is considered a form of rape.
