CM Pande emphasizes quality medical service
Gandaki Province’s Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pande emphasized on rendering quality healthcare services to patients visiting province government hospital.
CM Pande said so while inspecting the Contagious Diseases Hospital at Pokhara Metropolitan ward no 30 in Kaski district today.
Taking stock of patients, medical services, availability of human resources, equipment and physical infrastructures among others in the Hospital, Pande instructed the hospital management to provide more extended services and quality healthcare services to the patients.
The extended services are the hospital services provided at the people’s doorsteps.
Furthermore, CM Pande suggested the hospital management that it installed an elevator in the hospital in view of facilitating the patients, especially those living with disabilities. The CM pledged more investment in infrastructure developments and human resources management in the hospital in coming days.
Secretary at the Ministry of Social Development and Health, Binod Bindu Sharma, as well as Bikash Gauchan, physician in the hospital, briefed the CM about the medical services.
They also attended to the queries and concerns put forth by the CM regarding the provincial hospital. The hospital is preparing to provide dialysis service for kidney patients very soon, it was shared.
