RPP Chairman Calls for PM Prachanda’s Resignation

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has called for the resignation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on moral grounds during a session of the House of Representatives on Monday.

Chairman Lingden emphasized that the Prime Minister should step down based on moral principles. He asserted that it is incumbent upon the leader of the government to resign in situations like these, upholding ethical standards.

Citing an example, Lingden pointed out that the former Law Minister Sher Bahadur Tamang had also resigned on moral grounds. He expressed his belief that such acts of resignation are not ordinary when it comes to matters concerning the nation’s sovereignty.

Additionally, Lingden questioned the role of Speaker Devraj Ghimire and voiced his dissatisfaction with the treatment of the opposition party RPP in Parliament. He raised concerns that his party was not given an opportunity to address this issue earlier.
