Suicide Note Found in Late Artist Saruk Tamrakar’s Mobile Phone

In a significant development in the investigation into the death of artist Saruk Tamrakar, a suicide note was discovered on his mobile phone by the police’s digital forensic lab. Saruk Tamrakar was found hanging in his residence in Ratopul, Kathmandu on July 6.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dan Bahadur Karki, head of District Police Complex, Kathmandu, revealed that the mobile phone of the deceased artist was sent to the digital forensic lab for testing. The lab test yielded the discovery of the suicide note, providing valuable insight into the circumstances surrounding his tragic demise.

The investigating officer stated that the note did not contain any accusations against others but revealed Tamrakar expressing his weaknesses and emphasizing that he did not intend to harm anyone. The poignant words in the note read, “It’s all my fault, don’t blame anyone. It all had to end here, it did. Let me rest in peace. Thank you.”

Earlier, when the police conducted an initial search at the scene of the incident, no note was found. However, Tamrakar’s mobile phone was discovered at the location, leading the authorities to send it for forensic examination at the police headquarters’ digital forensic lab.
