Chinese National Arrested at TIA with 100,000 Chinese Yuan

A 58-year-old Chinese national was apprehended at Tribhuvan International Airport today with a significant sum of Chinese Yuan in his possession.

Hong Hong, who was set to board an Air China flight to Chengdu, China, was discovered with 100,000 Chinese Yuan hidden within his bag during routine hand baggage screening. Law enforcement officials swiftly took action, preventing what could have been an illegal smuggling attempt.

The arrested individual is currently being held at Harihar Bhavan in Lalitpur, under the jurisdiction of the Revenue Investigation Department.
