Security forces from Nepal and India have successfully demolished illegal structures constructed in the no man’s land along the border area of Mahottari district.
The joint operation targeted structures encroaching on Matihani municipality-7 and 8 in Nepal and approximately three kilometers of no man’s land from border pillar no 295\9 to pillar no 295 in Madhuwapur city of Madhubani District, Bihar, India.
Led by Sub Inspector Rabindra Sudi from APF Nepal No 9 Headquarters, Jaleshwor, and Police Inspector Rishikesh Kumar from Sashastra Seema Bal at Madhuwapur in Madhubani district, the teams effectively removed houses, huts, and other illegal structures that had encroached upon the no man’s land.
Additionally, numerous Indian number-plated vehicles that had been parked in the no man’s land for many years were also removed, and parking in the area will be strictly prohibited from now on. The joint effort showcases the commitment of both nations to maintain the sanctity of their borders and preserve the integrity of the no man’s land area.
