55 Deportations in 3 Months, 21 Chinese
In the last three months, Nepal has deported fifty-five foreign nationals for engaging in unlawful activities and overstaying their visas. The Immigration Department revealed that the majority of those deported were Chinese nationals, with 21 individuals being sent back to their home country.
According to official data, the deportations included citizens from various other countries. Seven Americans, four individuals from Yemen, three from the UK, and two each from South Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Cameroon, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka were among those repatriated due to their visa violations and illegal activities.
Moreover, the Immigration Department stated that one person each from Bhutan, Ghana, Iran, Italy, Portugal, France, Sudan, Canada, and Germany were also deported during the same period.
