Deuba Expands NSU: 710 Central Members Nominated
The ad hoc central committee of the Nepal Student Union (NSU), the student wing of the Nepali Congress (NC), has taken a complete form under the leadership of Dujang Sherpa. President Sher Bahadur Deuba expanded the committee on Monday evening, ensuring representation from all 77 districts across the country.
The newly expanded NSU committee now consists of 710 central members, showcasing a diverse representation from various regions. Notably, this expansion also accommodated 10 accomplished doctors, recognizing their expertise and contribution to the medical field.
Moreover, in a remarkable move to foster a multidisciplinary approach, the ad hoc committee has also included 20 engineers, recognizing the significance of technical expertise in shaping the nation’s future.
The formation of this ad hoc committee is a significant step in the absence of a national general convention, demonstrating the NC’s commitment to ensuring continued representation and engagement of the youth in the political landscape.
