US Ambassador Thompson pays courtesy call on COAS Sharma

The newly-appointed US Ambassador to Nepal, Dean Richard Thompson, has paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Prabhu Ram Sharma.

Ambassador Thompson, who has been busy with high-level meetings for the past few days, met with Chief of Army Staff Sharma at the military headquarters, Jangi Adda, on Tuesday.

In the meeting held in the office of CoAS Sharma, issues of bilateral interest and mutual relations were discussed.

The Nepali Army has expressed the belief that this kind of meeting will further help in strengthening the mutual relations between the two countries.
