Nepal Airlines Embarks on New Routes: Regular Flights to Hong Kong and Delhi from Bhairahawa
Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), the national flag carrier of Nepal, is poised to inaugurate a new era of air travel by commencing regular flight operations to two prominent destinations – Hong Kong and New Delhi, India. The flights will take off from the Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa, with the inaugural flights scheduled for departure on August 29.
With a focus on enhancing connectivity and offering convenient options for travelers, NAC has introduced ticket bookings for flights to both Hong Kong and Delhi with a transit stop in Kathmandu. This strategic approach not only facilitates seamless travel but also showcases NAC’s commitment to providing efficient and reliable services to its passengers.
Ramesh Poudel, the spokesperson for NAC, highlighted that the corporation has devised a phased plan to accommodate the evolving market demand. By implementing a flexible strategy that aligns with market dynamics, NAC aims to steadily augment its flight frequency. The initial plan involves the commencement of a weekly flight departing from Bhairahawa every Tuesday.
The flight schedule outlines that departing from Bhairahawa at 8:15 am, the plane will touch down in Kathmandu at 9:00 am. Subsequently, passengers en route to Hong Kong and Delhi will transition to their respective connecting flights operated by NAC. To streamline the travel experience, passengers are afforded the convenience of receiving boarding passes extending to their final destinations during the check-in process, coupled with the assurance of receiving their luggage at the endpoint.
In a move to cater to the evolving needs of modern travelers, NAC has introduced the option of booking and obtaining online tickets through its official website. This seamless digital approach further underscores NAC’s commitment to enhancing the passenger journey through user-friendly solutions.
The introduction of these new routes not only enhances Nepal’s air connectivity but also contributes to the expansion of the regional travel network. As Nepal Airlines Corporation embarks on this significant expansion, it is poised to redefine air travel for both domestic and international passengers, reaffirming its position as a premier aviation service provider.
