Shankar Pokharel-Led Delegation to Visit China on CCP’s Invitation
A delegation of communist party leaders from Nepal, led by General Secretary Shankar Pokharel of the CPN-UML, is poised to embark on a visit to China. The leaders have received an invitation from the Foreign Affairs Department of the Chinese Communist Party.
During their stay in China, the Nepalese leaders are slated to participate in various programs and engage in visits to several locations, including the capital city of Beijing.
This visit follows prior instances of engagement between the two nations, with notable figures such as Vice Chairman of the Maoist Center and former Assembly Speaker Agni Sapkota, Mayor of Bharatpur Metropolis Renu Dahal, and Maoist Center leader Dev Gurung undertaking trips to different parts of China, including Mansarovar.
