Godawari a model ecological place: Minister Kirati

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, has said Godawari is a model ecological place in Nepal.

Attending a cleaning campaign organized by the Office of Godawari Municipality-3 here Thursday, Minister Kirati urged everyone to visit this place reasoning it is rich in ecology and natural beauty. Godawari is also a touristy place, he observed.

On a different note, Minister Kirati viewed sanitation must be prioritized in view of growing cases of dengue and scrub typhus in the country of late.

On the occasion, Ward Chairman Sanoraj Ghimire viewed garbage management should be a major sanitation agenda. The campaign was also attended by people’s representatives, sanitation activists, employees, entrepreneurs and police persons.
