Narayanman Bijukchhe Highlights Importance of Nepali Culture
In a recent address in Bhaktapur, Narayanman Bijukchhe, the Chairperson of Nepal Workers and Peasants’ Party, highlighted the significance of Nepal’s art and culture in shaping the identity of its citizens. He underscored the need to promote and preserve this cultural identity among Nepali people.
Bijukchhe also expressed concerns about the failures of cooperatives, attributing their shortcomings to a lack of investment in the productive sector.
Additionally, the party’s central secretary, Prem Suwal, criticized the ongoing teachers’ agitation against the School Education Bill, arguing that it could potentially restrict the rights of local government bodies.
Bhaktapur metropolis mayor, Sunil Prajapati, asserted that the local government had the capability to independently restore various heritage sites damaged by the devastating earthquake of 2015.
