Brutal Attack Claims Young Man’s Life in New Road

In a tragic incident on Monday evening, an unidentified group of assailants brutally attacked a young man in New Road, Kathmandu, resulting in his untimely death. The victim, identified as 17-year-old Sunny Karki, had come to New Road to witness the Indrajatra festival when he fell prey to this vicious assault.

Sunny Karki, originally from Likhu-4, Okhaldhunga, had been residing in the area. He was ruthlessly assaulted with a sharp weapon, leading to his tragic demise.

Efforts were made to save Karki’s life as he was rushed from the Trauma Center to Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center. However, the young man, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries at 11:58 while en route to the hospital.

Local law enforcement authorities have swiftly launched an investigation into this heinous incident, with the aim of bringing those responsible for this brutal attack to justice.
