PM Dahal to visit earthquake-affected Bajhang on Friday

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has announced plans to visit Bajhang, the earthquake-affected district. The Prime Minister’s secretariat confirmed the visit, which is scheduled for Friday.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Prachanda chaired a meeting of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council at Singha Darbar. During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of visiting Bajhang as both the Council’s chairman and the Prime Minister. He expressed his intention to personally assess the situation and take necessary actions based on the assessment report.
The earthquake, with a magnitude of 6.3, struck Bajhang on Tuesday at 3:06 pm. Tragically, one woman lost her life, and several others sustained injuries in the quake. Additionally, both private residences and public buildings in the district suffered varying degrees of damage.
