Pakistan appoints new ambassador to Nepal
Pakistan has appointed a new ambassador to Nepal.
The nomination of a new ambassador comes shortly after the incumbent Pakistani Ambassador to Nepal Syed Haider Shah returned home after completing his term in Nepal.
A career diplomat, Abrar H Hashmi has been appointed as Pakistan’s new Ambassador to Nepal.
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif approved the appointment of new ambassadors of Pakistan for different countries on Saturday.
Prime Minister Sharif, on the same day, approved the appointment of Abrar H Hashmi as Pakistan’s new Ambassador to Nepal on the recommendation of the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Earlier, Hashmi worked as Consul General of Pakistan in Huston, Texas, USA. Before joining as Consul General in Houston, he had worked at the Pakistani Foreign Ministry and Pakistan’s missions abroad.
