Possible Fatalities of 7 Nepalis in Israel
It is suspected that seven Nepali in Israel may have lost their lives in the aftermath of a sudden attack by the Palestinian militant group Hamas. However, it’s important to note that their deaths have not been officially confirmed as of now.
The Ambassador of Nepal to Israel, Kanta Rijal, expressed her concerns and efforts to gather official information about the incident. She revealed the difficulties in establishing regular contact with the authorities in Israel due to the escalating tensions in the region.
“The situation is critical, and we are trying to obtain official information. At this moment, it is not possible to confirm,” said Ambassador Rijal.
According to her, twelve injured individuals have been out of contact with the Nepali Embassy. Additionally, three injured persons were admitted to the hospital, and one has been discharged. Two individuals are reported to be safe inside a bunker.
The suspected victims were allegedly shot by the Hamas group while Nepali workers from an agricultural farm were heading towards a bunker during the attack. Tragically, they were unable to receive timely medical treatment despite being injured.
