Nepali Congress Urges Swift Action to Rescue Citizens in Israel

Nepali Congress (NC) has called upon the government to take immediate action to rescue and repatriate Nepali citizens currently in Israel.

NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba issued a statement on Sunday condemning the attack and expressing deep concern for the welfare of injured Nepalis and those who have been taken hostage. He emphasized the urgent need for their safe evacuation.

Deuba stated, “The Nepali Congress strongly urges the Government of Nepal to initiate immediate diplomatic efforts to facilitate the necessary rescue and return of our citizens.”

Furthermore, he appealed to international communities, neighboring nations, international human rights organizations, immigration-related entities, and the International Red Cross Committee to collaborate in creating a conducive environment for Nepali workers in Israel to safely return home.
