‘Alliance’s victory eases implementation of NC manifesto’
The political leaders have said the alliance candidates must be ensured victory for the implementation of the election manifesto of the Nepali Congress.
They said it while speaking at a program organized by the Chitwan-Kathmandu contact committee on Monday. Central member of the Nepali Congress, Dr. Minendra Rijal, viewed NC does not sell cheap dreams. “NC is the party that moves together with people,” he asserted.
Socialism is NC’s program, another central member Dr. Govinda Pokhrel said, making it clear that NC had envisioned the socialism of the European model. Also the member of the election manifesto preparation committee of the party, Dr. Pokhrel viewed NC was ready to prepare the foreign policy keeping in centre the country’s interest.
Moreover, former Vice-Chairperson of the National Planning Commission, Dr. Swarnim Wagle, argued that NC’s resolution paper was the best one it ever had. “The resolution paper has incorporated the issues ranging from BP’s thoughts to youths’ concern,” he informed.
NC central member and election candidate Umesh Shrestha said the constitution would be protected with the ruling alliance.
