Federal republic has linked people from all cultures: Vice President Yadav

Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has said the federal democratic republic has linked people from all castes and cultures.

Extending a message of best wishes on the occasion of the Tihar festival on Tuesday, Vice President Yadav reminded that Tihar is a significant culture which fosters social, cultural and religious ties in Nepali community.

The lights lit on this occasion inspire everyone to give up negative sides and aspire bright future, he said, adding that light is a spiritual message.

The worship of bird, animal, goddess and brothers on this occasion along with deusi, bhailo further build unity and harmony in family and diverse communities, according to Vice President Yadav. He wished peace, prosperity and happiness to all Nepalis on this occasion.
