Pyuthan Wedding Jeep Accident Claims One Life
In a devastating turn of events, a joyous wedding procession turned into a scene of tragedy as a Scorpio Jeep, bearing the registration number Lu 3 Cha 6847, met with a fatal accident in the Baraula of Airawati Rural Municipality -2 in Pyuthan. The incident occurred on Thursday morning as the vehicle was en route to the District Headquarters Khalanga to bring the bride to the wedding ceremony.
The Information Officer of District Police Office Pyuthan, Humananda Khanal, reported that Damodar Nepali, a 52-year-old ward member of Mallarani Rural Municipality -3, lost his life in the unfortunate accident. The primary cause of the incident was identified as a tyre puncture, leading to the loss of control over the vehicle.
Five individuals sustained injuries in the accident, and they are currently undergoing treatment at the District Hospital Bijuwar. The community is in shock and mourning the loss of Damodar Nepali, who was an esteemed member of the Mallarani Rural Municipality.
