Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati, has viewed the country could be developed as a centre of tourism once the indigenous arts and cultures were preserved and promoted.
Inaugurating the 15th academicians’ assembly of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts on Friday, Minister Kirati said time has come to preserve the indigenous culture and heritages so that it could contribute to developments of tourism and economy.

Former Vice Chancellor of the Academy, Ragini Upadhyay, suggested the Academy that it organized even the international conferences on Nepali art and culture.
