Gold Prices Take a Dive in Nepali Market

The Nepali market sees a substantial decline in gold prices, registering a drop of Rs 1,300 per tola on Friday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

As of the latest update, the current trading rate for gold stands at Rs 120,700 per tola, with one tola equivalent to 11.66 grams. This notable decrease is further highlighted when compared to Thursday’s rates, where gold was valued at Rs 122,000 per tola. The price of standard gold has also experienced a dip, now marked at Rs 120,100 per tola, showcasing a downward trend from the previous rate of Rs 121,400 per tola.

The downward trajectory extends to the silver market, where the price of silver has observed a decline of 35 rupees, currently being traded at Rs 1,455 per tola.

Market analysts and experts are closely monitoring the situation, attributing this sudden drop in precious metal prices to various global and domestic factors. Investors and consumers alike are advised to stay informed as the market dynamics continue to evolve.
