Leader Bhattarai Calls for Constructive Approach and Swift Action on Transitional Justice

In a compelling address at the 48th National Unity and Reconciliation Day organized by the Nepali Congress, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, Chairman of Nepal Samajwadi Party, emphasized the urgency of adopting a constructive approach to tackle the intricate challenges facing the nation.

Dr. Bhattarai drew inspiration from the wisdom of BP and encouraged meaningful debates on contemporary issues, urging stakeholders to avoid blame games and focus on delivering the fruits of good governance and prosperity to the people. He emphasized, “Let’s learn from BP to debate the complex situation of the country and contemporary issues. Take this responsibility seriously.”

Addressing the significance of the Transitional Justice (TRC) Bill, Dr. Bhattarai stressed its role as a common concern for the country. He called for swift action on the TRC bill, emphasizing that collective resolution is imperative for maintaining public trust.

Cautioning against mere symbolic gestures of democracy, Dr. Bhattarai asserted that resolving crucial issues like the TRC bill is vital for genuine democratic progress.
