Manpower owner arrested for cheating more than Rs 1.9 million

Police have arrested a manpower owner on the charge of cheating more than Rs 1.9 million.

He is Jayram Poudel, 41, of Panauti municipality-1 in Kavrepalanchowk district, the owner of Mars Manpower Services Pvt Ltd., said Spokesperson at the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Superintendent of Police, Rabindra Regmi.

Poudel had cheated Rs 1.96 million from two persons including Padam Kumari Shrestha time and again alluring them of providing a job at a renowned company and more than Rs 300,000 salary per month in Europe.

The arrested one has been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment, Tahachal for further investigation and action, added Regmi.
