EC Announces New Lineup of Election Officers for National Assembly Election
In preparation for the upcoming National Assembly (NA) election, the Election Commission (EC) has undertaken a significant reshuffle of election officers across all seven provinces. The decision was necessitated by the recent reassignments of previously appointed officers to high courts, prompting the need for fresh appointments.
The new lineup of election officers, selected for their experience and expertise, is as follows:
Koshi Province: Judge Bishnu Prasad Gautam – Morang District Court
Madhes Province: Judge Chitra Bahadur Gurung – Dhanusha District Court
Bagmati Province: Judge Shree Prasad Sanjel – Makwanpur District Court
Gandaki Province: Judge Shree Ram Acharya – Kaski District Court
Lumbini Province: Judge Kul Prasad Pandey – Dang District Court
Karnali Province: Judge Manoj Shrestha – Surkhet District Court
Sudurpaschim Province: Judge Bishnu Prasad Awasti – Kailali District Court
The Election Commission emphasized that these appointments aim to ensure the integrity and smooth conduct of the National Assembly election in their respective provinces.
