NEPSE Index Witnesses Slight Dip

In a day marked by subtle market movements, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index experienced a marginal decrease of 0.03%, equivalent to 0.62 points, settling at 2,088.99 points as compared to the previous day’s close.

This minor decline comes on the heels of a preceding trading session that saw the index register a notable gain of 9.50 points, reflecting the inherent volatility in the market.

The trading day kicked off with the NEPSE Index opening at 2,091.28 and witnessed fluctuations throughout the session, reaching an intraday low of 2,082.49 and a high of 2,106.43.

Amidst the market activities, a total of 307 different stocks were exchanged, involving a substantial 79,389 transactions. The trading volume reached an impressive 22,132,768 shares, contributing to a total turnover of Rs. 4.30 Arba.
