Elephant Attack Claims Elderly Man’s Life in Sunsari

An elderly person died on the spot in an elephant attack near Simarban jungle of Baraha Kshetra in Sunsari district today.
According to the District Police Office, the deceased has been identified as a local Bhim Bahadur Bista, 69.
The elephant attacked him when he was returning home collecting grass from the jungle.
His body has been taken to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for post- mortem examination, said police.
