Ayodhya Vibes in Jaleshwar: Flags, Lights, and ‘Ram Aayenge’ Echoes Fill the Air!

The air in Jaleshwar, the headquarters of Mahottari district, is thick with anticipation as the city gears up for the forthcoming Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha program scheduled for Monday (January 22) in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Every nook and corner of Jaleshwar is ablaze with excitement, with homes, trade establishments, businesses, shops, industries, factories, and even lampposts donned with flags depicting the image of Lord Ramchandra, illuminated by electric lights and adorned with flower garlands.

The city resonates with the melodious rendition of the popular song ‘Ram Aayenge,’ creating a festive atmosphere that captures the spirit of the upcoming ceremony in Ayodhya.

In preparation for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ramchandra in the Ram Temple, the Jaleshwar Municipality has issued a call to residents to illuminate lamps in households, monasteries, temples, industries, businesses, shops, factories, and every corner of the municipality on Monday.

Mayor Suresh Shah Sonar, in a statement, urged all citizens to celebrate this auspicious day dedicated to the life of Lord Ram with joy. Recognizing the citizens as proud devotees of Mata Janaki (Mithila wasi), he encouraged the celebration of Diwali and the exchange of happiness, considering the Pran Pratishtha ceremony a moment of pride and honor for the entire city.

To ensure a solemn observance of the occasion, the Jaleshwar municipality has imposed a ban on the consumption and sale of fish, meat, and alcohol within its jurisdiction on Monday, underlining the significance of the day and respecting the sentiments of the devotees in the temple of Lord Ram.
