500-Year Dream Fulfilled: Yogi Adityanath Applauds Modi as world’s most popular leader, Calls India ‘Ayodhya Dham’
In a momentous occasion marked by the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared on Monday that the 500-year-old dream of the people of India for a Ram temple in Ayodhya has finally come true. Speaking in the holy city, Yogi Adityanath expressed profound joy and emotions as he addressed the gathered crowd.
The BJP leader, who was present inside the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple during the ceremony conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, described the event as a historic milestone in the country’s religious and cultural landscape. Yogi Adityanath remarked that for the first time in history, a major community had to endure a prolonged struggle to secure their God’s rightful place.
Reflecting on the challenges faced by the community, he recalled the firing on ‘kar sevaks’ in 1990, stating that such incidents would now be a thing of the past in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives during the struggles, emphasizing the significance of the temple’s construction at the desired location.
“The temple has been built where we had resolved to build it,” Yogi Adityanath declared, highlighting the fulfillment of the commitment made by the community. He expressed deep emotions, stating that there were feelings in his heart that words couldn’t adequately express. Yogi Adityanath portrayed the entire country as an “Ayodhya Dham” during this historic moment, with every city and village turning into Ayodhya.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yogi Adityanath described him as the world’s most popular leader. The Chief Minister acknowledged the Supreme Court of India’s 2019 verdict, which recognized evidence of a Hindu place of worship at the disputed site, leading to the authorization for the construction of the temple. The apex court also directed the provision of a separate parcel of land for the Muslim community to build a mosque, ensuring a balanced resolution to the longstanding dispute.
