Nepal Oil Corporation Hikes Fuel Prices
16th Feb 2024
The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced an increase in the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene. Following a board meeting held on Thursday evening, the decision was made to raise prices by Rs 2 per litre.
This decision aligns with similar moves from counterparts in the region, such as the Indian Oil Corporation, which raised prices by Rs 1.56 per litre. Additionally, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased its prices by Rs 2 per litre.
However, the corporation has clarified that prices for aviation fuel and cooking gas will remain unaffected by the changes. The revised prices are scheduled to come into effect from Friday onwards.
